The hotel has a cozy, family-style setup with all the usual amenities, but our room was a bit outdated and faced the car park instead of scenic views. The location is peaceful, close to all the action without the noise, and the dining was satisfactory though lacking some variety.
An unparalleled gem for such a reasonable price. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with a most welcome bath and plenty of hot water to soothe the aching muscles after exploring sections of the South West Coast Path. The decor was well-done, spotless, and comfortable, featuring tea making facilities, a modern TV, seating, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
